Itinerary — Củ Chi Tunnels full-day tour (luxury)
DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Củ Chi Tunnels (Bến Dược) – Ho Chi Minh City
- 07:30–08:00 – Your guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and head to Củ Chi on Highway 22 (about 1.5 hours).
- 09:30 – Arrive at the Củ Chi Tunnels historical site at Bến Dược and watch a wartime documentary of about 20 minutes.
- 10:05 – Walk the jungle paths to see camouflaged tunnel entrances, booby traps, B-52 bomb craters, weapons displays and the Bến Dược Memorial Temple.
- 11:15 – Optionally crawl through a widened section of the original tunnel, with exit points along the way.
- 11:45 – Taste cassava with hot jasmine tea, the staple food of those who lived underground; around 12:00 you can try the shooting range (at your own expense).
- 12:15 – Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City (about 1.5 hours).
- 13:45 – Light lunch at a restaurant in District 1: one bowl of phở and one glass of iced tea per person.
- 14:30 – Arrive back at your hotel in District 1, end of tour.
