Itinerary — Củ Chi Tunnels full-day tour (luxury)
DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Củ Chi – Mỹ Tho – Ho Chi Minh City
- 07:00 – Limousine and guide pickup at your District 1 hotel, then a 1–1.5 hour drive to Củ Chi with cold water and snacks on board.
- 08:30 – Arrive at the Bến Đình tunnels historical site and watch a 20-minute wartime documentary.
- 09:05 – Explore hidden trapdoor entrances, booby trap displays, B-52 bomb craters and underground kitchens and meeting rooms; taste cassava and hot tea, with an optional tunnel crawl.
- 10:30 – Optional shooting range (at own expense), then leave Củ Chi for Mỹ Tho in Tiền Giang (about 1.5 hours).
- 12:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant on the way to Mỹ Tho; vegetarian options available if requested at booking.
- 13:30 – Motorboat on the Tiền River to the islands, visit a bee farm to taste honey and honey tea, and enjoy live đờn ca tài tử southern folk music.
- 15:30 – Watch a family make coconut candy by hand, taste seasonal fruit, then take a rowing sampan through the water coconut canals.
- 17:00 – Boat back to Mỹ Tho pier and limousine to Ho Chi Minh City (about 1.5 hours). Arrive at your District 1 hotel around 18:30–19:30, end of tour.
