Itinerary — TP.HCM & Củ Chi Tunnels full-day tour (luxury)
DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Củ Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City
- 07:30–08:00 – Your guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- 08:15 – Visit Independence Palace, preserved almost exactly as it was on 30 April 1975 (about 45–60 minutes).
- 09:15 – Stop at Notre Dame Cathedral, built with red bricks shipped from France, and the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel's firm.
- 09:45 – Visit the War Remnants Museum with its photographs and artefacts from the Vietnam War (about 45–60 minutes).
- 11:00 – Lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City (vegetarian menu available if requested at booking).
- 12:00 – Drive to the Củ Chi Tunnels at Bến Đình (about 70 km, 1.5 hours) and watch a 20-minute wartime documentary on arrival.
- 14:05 – Walk past camouflaged tunnel entrances, booby traps, B-52 bomb craters and weapons, and taste cassava with hot tea; you may also crawl a tunnel section or try the shooting range (at your own expense).
- 15:45 – Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City (about 1.5 hours); arrive at your hotel in District 1 around 17:30–18:00, end of tour.
