Itinerary — Tour Vietnam 5 days: Đà Nẵng – Huế – Quảng Bình – Hội An

DAY 1: Đà Nẵng – Huế

1. 06:00–07:00 – Pick-up in Đà Nẵng and drive through the Hải Vân Tunnel, the natural border between Đà Nẵng and Huế.
2. 11:00–12:00 – Alternatively, pick-up in Huế city, the former capital of the Nguyễn Dynasty.
3. Lunch at a local restaurant.
4. In the afternoon, visit Đại Nội, the Nguyễn Dynasty's Imperial Citadel and a UNESCO site, with walls about 10 km around and a surrounding moat system; then visit Thiên Mụ Pagoda.
5. Dinner at a restaurant, followed by a boat trip on the Hương River (Perfume River) with Huế folk songs.
6. Overnight in Huế.

DAY 2: Paradise Cave – Huế

1. After breakfast, depart for Quảng Bình, stopping at La Vang Holy Land on the way.
2. La Vang is linked to the apparition of the Virgin Mary to Catholics sheltering here in the late 18th century; the first church was built under three banyan trees in 1798.
3. Lunch at a local restaurant.
4. Visit Thiên Đường (Paradise) Cave in Phong Nha – Kẻ Bàng National Park, a World Natural Heritage site; the 31 km cave was discovered by scientists of the British Cave Research Association.
5. Admire crystal-white stalactites and many majestic rock formations.
6. Dinner and overnight in Huế.

DAY 3: Huế – Đà Nẵng – Sơn Trà

1. After breakfast, visit Khải Định Tomb and Từ Hiếu Pagoda.
2. Khải Định Tomb has a Western look with 127 steps set against the hillside; Thiên Định Palace is decorated with porcelain and glass mosaics and a ceiling painted with nine dragons among the clouds.
3. Lunch at a local restaurant and some free time before the transfer to Đà Nẵng.
4. Cross Thuận Phước Bridge to Sơn Trà Peninsula, a forest home to over 300 rare red-shanked douc langurs.
5. Visit Linh Ứng Pagoda with its statue of the Goddess of Mercy facing the sea.
6. Swim at Mỹ Khê Beach, a 9 km stretch of fine sand.
7. Dinner, then a cruise on the Hàn River to see Đà Nẵng by night, or ride the Sun Wheel (at own expense).
8. Overnight in Đà Nẵng.

DAY 4: Bà Nà – Hội An

1. After breakfast, visit Non Nước Stone Carving Village by Ngũ Hành Sơn (Marble Mountains), a craft village with a 300–400-year history.
2. Lunch at a restaurant.
3. Head up to Bà Nà Hills for mountain views and a range of entertainment (cable car fee at own expense).
4. In the afternoon, stroll Hội An Ancient Town and visit its well-preserved historic sites.
5. Free time to explore Hội An by night, with its riverside cafés and restaurants.
6. Dinner at a local restaurant, then return to Đà Nẵng for the night.

DAY 5: Đà Nẵng – Departure

1. Breakfast and free time to relax.
2. Transfer to Đà Nẵng Airport for your departure flight; end of the tour.
