Itinerary — Vietnam half-day tour
DAY 1: Hội An – Red Bridge cooking class
- 08:15 or 13:30 – Meet at Hai Scout Café (98 Nguyễn Thái Học, Hội An Ancient Town) for a drink before starting.
- Explore the bustling Hội An market, chat with the vendors and buy some ingredients for the cooking class.
- Take the Red Bridge boat for about 25 minutes along the Hội An river to the Red Bridge Cooking School, watching riverside life.
- Tour the school's herb and vegetable garden and learn about some well-known dishes of Hội An and Vietnam.
- Cook for about 2 hours: the chef demonstrates each dish before you prepare it yourself, with a short introduction to Vietnamese food carving for plate decoration.
- Sit down to enjoy the dishes you have cooked (vegetarian lunch available on request).
- Around 13:00 (morning session) – Arrive back in central Hội An, end of tour.
