Động Thiên Hà nằm trong dãy Tướng thuộc quần thể danh thắng Tràng An, dài khoảng 700m gồm động khô 200m và động nước 500m. Hệ nhũ đá hàng trăm triệu năm dưới ánh đèn tạo nên những mảng sáng lấp lánh, vì thế động mang tên “dải Ngân Hà”.
Hành trình bắt đầu bằng chặng thuyền nhỏ trên dòng Bến Đang, đi bộ qua cánh đồng rồi vào lòng hang – kết hợp cả chèo thuyền lẫn khám phá hang động trong một buổi.
