Itinerary — Cruise Vietnam 1 days: Bến Tre – Mỹ Tho (private)
DAY 1: Mỹ Tho – Quy Islet – Bến Tre
- Board the cruise boat at Mỹ Tho Cruise Port; your guide introduces the Tiền River and the day's route (departure time confirmed at booking).
- Cruise the Tiền River past Rạch Miễu Bridge, linking Tiền Giang and Bến Tre, and floating fish farms raising tra catfish and snakehead.
- Walk the orchards on Quy Islet, pick and taste seasonal fruit, drink fresh coconut water, then visit a bee farm and taste the honey.
- Ride a hand-rowed sampan through narrow canals beneath arching nipa palms (about 20–30 minutes).
- Take an electric cart or xe lam through the village lanes of Thới Sơn, stopping at coconut candy and banana candy workshops where you can help roll and cut the candy.
- Lunch at a riverside restaurant in Bến Tre, cooked with fresh produce from the morning market (vegetarian dishes available if requested at booking).
- Cycle or walk at an easy pace through village lanes, vegetable gardens and fish ponds for about 30–45 minutes.
- Cruise back to Mỹ Tho Cruise Port, then drive about 70 km. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, end of tour.
