Itinerary — Bến Tre & Mỹ Tho full-day tour (luxury)
DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mỹ Tho – Bến Tre – Ho Chi Minh City
- 07:00–07:30 – Hotel pickup in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and departure for Mỹ Tho (about 1.5 hours).
- 08:30 – Visit Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda (built in 1849), blending Vietnamese, Chinese, French and Khmer styles. Please wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees.
- 09:15 – Motorboat from Mỹ Tho pier across the Tiền River to the Long, Lân, Quy and Phụng islets; at 09:45 stroll through an orchard and taste seasonal fruit picked from the trees.
- 10:30 – Visit a bee farm to taste honey and honey tea; at 11:00 enjoy đờn ca tài tử, Southern Vietnamese folk music listed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
- 11:45 – Watch coconut candy being made by hand at a family workshop and taste it; at 12:30 lunch at a riverside restaurant.
- 13:30 – Rowing sampan ride through a narrow canal shaded by water coconut palms (about 20–25 minutes).
- 14:00 – Motorboat to Bến Tre, then cycle or walk around Tân Thạch village (about 45–60 minutes).
- 15:00 – Motorboat back to Mỹ Tho pier and at 15:15 drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. 17:00–17:30 arrive at your hotel in District 1; end of tour.
