Itinerary — Tour Vietnam 6 days: Huế – Đà Nẵng – Hội An – TP.HCM
DAY 1: Arrival in Huế
- Pick-up at Phú Bài Airport or Huế Railway Station, where your local guide is waiting.
- Transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Free time to relax in Huế city.
DAY 2: Huế – Hương River Boat Trip
- In the morning, pick-up at your hotel to visit the tombs of Tự Đức and Minh Mạng, resting places of two Nguyễn Dynasty emperors.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- In the afternoon, take a boat down the Hương River (Perfume River) to Thiên Mụ Pagoda, a sacred pagoda dating back to 1601.
- Visit Đại Nội, the Nguyễn Dynasty's Imperial City, with its bronze urns, palaces and royal temples.
- Return to the hotel to relax.
DAY 3: Bạch Mã National Park – Lăng Cô
- Depart from the hotel to Bạch Mã Mountain and hike to the summit for sweeping mountain views.
- Trek to Ngũ Hồ (Five Lakes), a series of small pools and cool springs where you can take a refreshing dip.
- Lunch.
- Continue walking about 1 hour to Đỗ Quyên Waterfall, where silver water pours over the cliffs amid the forested mountains.
- Drive back to the hotel and relax at Lăng Cô Beach.
DAY 4: Huế – Đà Nẵng – Hội An
- Early morning, enjoy the sunrise on Lăng Cô Beach.
- On the way to Hội An, stop at Hải Vân Pass.
- Visit the Cham Museum, where the Champa Kingdom comes vividly to life.
- Continue to Ngũ Hành Sơn (Marble Mountains), five limestone and marble hills named after Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth.
- Lunch.
- Arrive in Hội An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site: the Japanese Covered Bridge, a 200-year-old house, a Chinese-style pagoda and the ceramics museum.
- Stroll the old town, chat with locals and shop for souvenirs.
- Check in to the hotel and overnight in Hội An.
DAY 5: Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary – Hội An Craft Villages
- Depart from the hotel to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999 and once the capital and religious centre of the Champa Kingdom.
- Admire the temples, towers and relics that preserve the cultural and spiritual values of the Cham people.
- Lunch at a local restaurant in Hội An.
- In the afternoon, take a boat on the Thu Bồn River, stopping at Thanh Hà Pottery Village and Kim Bồng Carpentry Village to watch artisans at work.
- Continue to Cửa Đại estuary to watch the sunset.
- Return to the hotel and relax in Hội An.
DAY 6: Đà Nẵng – Departure
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to Đà Nẵng Airport or Railway Station for your onward trip to Hà Nội or Ho Chi Minh City; end of the tour.
